Ok, I think I've attempted this mission about 20 times with no success, either because of a bad group or just bad strats. I need to know what people have done to complete this mission and what kind of setup I need. I am N/W and tank better than most of the retarded tanks that I have been partied with. I think at least 4 or 5 times a tank has stayed back and shot a ballista instead of doing there job. I've also had trouble with nukers not doing a good job and too many rangers tryin to tank it. I need any help you guys can offer, this is by far the hardest mission I've dont yet, they really need to update this thing in a patch or something.

Please...before asking for updates...you should realize a lot of people have done this mission and have no problems at all. Asking for a nerf bat when you haven't thought about the mission means you have not played this game much at all.

If you can get to the end part of Thunderhead then you should be proficient to use your skill sets. First, let tanks to their job as tanks. They have higher armor and thus can stand up to more punishment. N/W with cursing can help a lot against Jade Armor...and to some extend...affect spell-casting Mursaat too. Don't stick with Blood at later levels like Keep since your enemies have much higher HP and thus making DoTs pretty ineffective.

Now more to the "team part" of the mission. Are you joining a balanced team? All W/Mo? No nuker? No monks?

The easiest way to defend the keep is to have your nukers (I hope they use fire) to be the catapult runners. Since spells like Firestorm/Meteor showers dont' need diret line-of-sight to work. Eles should wait till the enemies get close to the gate before raining fire on them. Of course, that'd require your Tanks to stand close to the gates to hold the line so ele can do his/her job.

Rangers should also get high ground too....giving you WAY higher damage when shooting from above. They are also good to be used as catapult runners.

Last but not least....get one or two nice Domination mesmer on your team. And then say bu-bye to the spell-casting mursaats. Not getting hit by 160+dmg chain lightning is a GOOD thing.

Put one guy on each side for the catapults (preferably a Blood Necro, or something else that's fairly self-sufficient). The rest of your team should stick together and take out one group of enemies at a time.
